Cultural Technology Grant Scheme to promote cultural Ireland to new markets launched

A new grant scheme aimed at using new technology to promote Irish arts and culture was announced by Mary Hanafin TD, Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport on 15th July 2010. The new Cultural Technology Grant Scheme will aim to use the best of modern technology to promote Irish arts and culture in all its forms and across a variety of new and existing technology methods.

The Scheme will make funding available to projects which seek to create, develop and/or exploit information and communication technologies and modern communication tools with a view to delivering a promotional, educational or information product to promote Irish arts and culture.
